FAQs
What if my insurance isn’t listed?
We can work as an out-of-network provider and give you a monthly super bill for services which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Services may be covered in full or in part for out-of-network services. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health out-of-network insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
How many sessions does my plan provide per year?
How long should I expect to be in treatment?
This is not a question that can be answered accurately. Circumstances of each individual’s experience and needs, environmental factors impacting treatment, as well as the differences in the clinician’s process all influence the duration of treatment. Some folks are in treatment for a couple months, some folks participate in treatment for years.
How do I know if therapy, or you as a therapist, is the right fit for me?
Therapist/client relationships are just like every other relationship you will make in your life. Some folks click at first session, some folks need that time to grow to trust, others will not find that rapport and bond.
And that’s okay.
Learning if we are a good fit can take time and intuition. Building a relationship where you feel comfortable and safe is essential. If at any time you feel as if you and your clinician are not a good match, let us know and we will support you in finding your best therapist.
